Secure System Engineer

Role Description

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Secure System Engineer to join our cybersecurity team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement security strategies to protect corporate networks, systems, and data
• Investigate security incidents and produce detailed reports for management
• Perform risk analysis and threat modeling to identify vulnerabilities in proposed architectures
• Propose and implement mitigation solutions to strengthen systems against known attack vectors
• Respond promptly to security incidents, conducting post-incident analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent future attacks
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and IT teams to integrate security capabilities across all phases of the system lifecycle

Requirements

• Proven experience (3–5 years) in cybersecurity roles
• Knowledge of SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
• Knowledge of detection rule syntax (Sigma, YARA, Suricata)
• Experience with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Nessus)

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of secure system design principles and methodologies (e.g., Zero Trust Architecture, defense-in-depth)
• Familiarity with network protocols and architectures (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactivity and ability to work under pressure, especially in incident response scenarios
