Junior IT System Administrator – Linux

We are looking for an IT System Administrator specializing in Linux to join our IT team. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of Linux operating systems and be eager to grow in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Gyala’s solution at client sites.
• Monitoring system performance and optimizing resources.
• Assisting in network, backup, and security management.
• Documenting IT procedures and system configurations.
• Providing operational support for IT infrastructure management.

General informations

• Technical diploma or degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields (students or recent graduates are also welcome).
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems and major distributions.
• Experience with basic shell commands (Bash).
• Understanding of network management (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Interest in IT and complex system management.
• Quick learning ability and willingness to grow professionally.
• Problem-solving skills.

Preferred (but not mandatory) Skills:

• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, Docker).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix).
• Basic scripting knowledge (Bash, Python).
• Knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Linux certifications.
