In Italy a few years ago, a process of strengthening the security levels of all critical infrastructures as well as healthcare infrastructures started, thanks to the introduction of the European regulation. Unfortunately, the entire PA apparatus lacks investment in information technology in general, so systems are often obsolete. This strengthening process that is already underway, however, will be accelerated by the arrival of money from the Recovery Fund.
